Online Zoom Meeting

With the support of the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation, Lake of the Woods Arts Community is proud to announce our final presentation of our Arts@Home 2020-2021 online program.

Aimee Baldwin • Moon in June Studio • Pottery

Aimee Baldwin is a tactile artisan with a formal background in Fashion Arts and Design. She fell in love with clay in high school and rekindled her interest by attending weekly pottery lessons at Riverdale Farms in Toronto. In December, 2014, Aimee completed a four-month intensive Ceramic Arts course at Haliburton School of the Arts. She opened Moon In June Studio on October 1st, 2015 in Kenora, ON.

Come join us and Aimee for a workshop from the comfort of your home. Learn the process of working with clay to create an item such as a mug or pinch pot. Once registered, you’ll receive a list of easily acquired materials, which you can get on your own or contact Aimee to purchase. Just want to watch and enjoy as others create and Aimee directs us? That's okay too! Come enjoy the stories and knowledge.

Please note, unlike our previous Arts@Home sessions, this workshop is taking place on a Tuesday.

To register, visit www.lowac.ca/aimee-baldwin-moon-in-june-studio-pottery/

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. The link is specific to you, so please put this information in a place you’ll remember for the meeting.

If you still need time to think about it, session details and registration are also available at: www.lowac.ca/artshome.

Note: This is new to us and since Internet isn’t always stable, we may experience some hiccups. Upon registration, you’ll receive information on who to contact if you have any difficulties. It’s possible you may lose the connection; the presenter’s signal could fail or their voices or images break up on screen. While we’ve done our best to prepare, some of this is out of our control. You can always sign in again or reboot if necessary.

If you don’t already have a Zoom account, it’s recommended that you download the free desktop version from zoom.us to help ensure you can log into the meeting without any difficulty.

These presentations are meant to be fun, informative, and stimulate creativity. It’s a great way to see old friends and meet new ones so see you there!
