Register today at lowac.ca/artshome
Enjoy this live concert provided virtually by Olivia Whiddon!
Olivia Whiddon has spent more than half her life as a musician, both on stage and as a teacher. Olivia began playing a small Celtic harp (which she built with Esme Boone) about four years ago and in 2019 picked up her own 34 string lever harp. She also runs the Olivia Whiddon Academy of Music, which is dedicated in providing quality instruction in voice, piano, theatre and theory and is the creative director for the Kenora Opera Theatre.
Olivia will take us on a wonderful journey of music with Celtic harp. Featuring pieces transcribed for harp, and harp and voice by Ailie Robertson, Rachel Hair and Eibhlis Ni Riordain, and more! Come learn the history of the Celtic harp and learn a bit more about Olivia’s journey with the Celtic harp.
Come watch the concert and join the discussion via Zoom.
