The Witches are BACK for the 2nd annual Witches Walk Kenora, a ticketed bar crawl in support of the Womens Place Kenora.
Tickets will be available for purchase on October 1st.
On Saturday October 21, downtown Kenora will be crawling with witches and wizards from 6:00pm-11:00pm, going to participating restaurants and bars to support them during the slower season all while supporting a cause.
Every participant will receive a swag back worth the value of their ticket with local merchandise and themed items. They will also be entered to win prizes and participate in games.
100% of ticket proceeds goes to Womens Place Kenora. Any business wanting to donate prizes or towards the event can receive a charitable tax receipt.
There will be 6 routes. Including 4 Wicked Routes and 2 Very Important Potions (VIP) Routes.
Wicked Route Tickets are $20 each and Very Important Potions Route Tickets are $40 each. Tickets will be available starting October 1st.
Participating locations include:
-Shooters Bar
-The Cave Bowling and Bar
-The Boathouse Beer Garden
-The Plaza
-Cottage Time
-Lake of the Woods Brewing Company
-Bob's Burgers
-The Legion Club Room
-Boston Pizza
-The Vault
Routes will be randomly selected the night of the event. Including the Very Important Potions routes. There will be route leaders guiding the groups from place to place. No one will know the routes, including leaders (until night of) and businesses. So participants cannot request a route.
This event will happen no matter the weather.
*This is an age of majority event (19+, valid government photo ID required). You will be asked for ID at the starting point and receive a wrist band. However, every business may ask again prior to serving alcohol to you.
*There will be no refunds on tickets. If unable to participate, you can sell your ticket at equal value price or less.
*Tickets are required to accept prizes.
**Every business has the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Including shutting down their business or making "last call" early.
**Please bring cash with you, as some locations accept cash only. However most places accept debit/credit
*Please do not drink and drive. Call a taxi 807-468-3031, find a designated driver, or safely walk home.
