The Lake of the Woods Arts Community (LOWAC) will once again host ARTSFEST, taking place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., July 15, 2023, on the MUSE grounds, Main Street South, in downtown Kenora. This is a free event, although donations will be gratefully accepted.
ARTSFEST is a family-friendly event, and all are welcome. Expect to meet and interact with visual artists, potters, jewelry makers, writers, sculptors, and other multi-disciplinary artists, all who share have a passion for creating and a willingness to share their work with others. Some artists will be offering demonstrations and hands-on activities. Children of all ages will enjoy visiting KIDZONE, an opportunity to explore different art mediums and meet artists who live and work in Kenora. Live performances will also take place throughout the day, along with facepainting and potentially, other community art projects.
