The 2019 Kenora Winter Carnival’s theme is Frozen Fiesta-“It’s a Party in the Snow” and will take place on March 1-3 2019. The Friday evening will be a Mexican themed party underneath the Whitecap, with piñata’s, snacks, announcing of the snow sculpture winners and skating before the fireworks light up the sky at 7:00pm. Saturday will remain community day and various events and fundraisers will be held around Kenora, including Mt. Evergreen Ski hill. On Sunday March 3rd, the Fiesta will conclude with a pancake breakfast, kid’s crafting, skating, swimming and outdoor activities and events at the Kenora Recreation Centre.
